Canvas Assistance
As part of the Alabama Community College System, Bevill State Community College uses Canvas for its Learning Management System.
Bevill State Bear Growl
Delivering information to our students to keep them up-to-date on college news and events is important to us. We are calling the service the Bevill State Bear Growl system. Students will receive news and info through the use of Growls– voice messages delivered to phones, text messages sent to cell phones, and emails.
The Growls can keep students informed about Pell check disbursement, registration dates, graduation information, and other news items. It will not inform students about emergencies, security issues, or weather-related closings. The College will continue to use the Bear Alert system for all emergency-based communication.
Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft and Bevill State has joined together to offer our students access to Microsoft 365 for free! Microsoft 365 is a collection of services that allows you to collaborate and share your schoolwork. The service includes Office Online (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote), 1TB of OneDrive storage, Yammer, and SharePoint sites.
