International Students

Bevill State Community College offers international students a variety of services to help with the transition to the U.S., the state of Alabama, and our campus community. The College provides the support and assistance necessary for international students to achieve their education goals while ensuring compliance with government immigration regulations. We look forward to helping you achieve your higher learning goals. At this time, International Students can only be admitted to attend the Bevill State Jasper Campus.

For admission purposes, someone is considered an international applicant if they are NOT a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or do not hold refugee status or political asylum status. Those who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, refugees, or political asylum holders, should apply as a domestic student, not international.

The links below will provide a checklist depending on your international student classification.

An international freshman/first-year student is an international applicant (in home country) who will complete, or has completed Secondary School, but has not enrolled in any College courses.

An international transfer student is an international applicant who has graduated from Secondary School. The international transfer student is currently enrolled on an F-1 visa at another College/University within the United States and wishes to transfer to Bevill State Community College.
