Student Support Services

Fayette, Hamilton, Jasper, and Sumiton Campuses

The mission of Student Support Services (SSS) is to provide services to limited-income, first generation college students and/or students with disabilities evidencing academic need.

SSS provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and motivates students to successfully complete their postsecondary education. The goal of SSS is to increase the college retention, graduation, and transfer rates of its participants.

The Hamilton Campus serves 124 students who are focused on careers in science, technology, engineering, math, and health science fields (STEM/HS).
