Among the various occupations our graduates are qualified to seek are hairstylist, barber, salon owner, makeup artist, esthetician, cosmetic chemist, hair colorist, nail technician, and educational specialist.
Course Requirements
Class Schedule

Persons interested in becoming cosmetologists or barbers must have finger dexterity and a sense of form and artistry. They should also enjoy dealing with the public and be willing and able to follow patrons' instructions.

Bevill State has developed an outstanding reputation in the industry for producing well-trained, highly skilled graduates. That's one of the reasons the Cosmetology & Barbering programs receive an average of three to five inquiries from industry each month seeking potential employees. Bevill State graduates have also performed extremely well on the state licensure exam required of all cosmetologists and barbers.
