The library offers library and research instruction to all BSCC classes at the request of the instructor. Instructors may request an instruction session by using the online Instruction Request Form or in person, by telephone and email.

Library instruction sessions offer a one hour class session to introduce students to electronic and print information resources, and how too create a search strategy to maximize the retrieval of information.
Library database and research tutorials provide convenient modules to learn the basic steps in choosing a research topic, selecting resources, searching the databases, and properly citing references.
Research guides provide research tips, information on how to choose topics, avoid plagiarism, how to document resources, how to use the Internet and much more.
Assistance with developing effective library assignments that will instructors in developing library assignments that will enable students to refine the skills that will benefit them throughout their educational careers, as well as in their professional and private lives.
